 North Dalmatia

The area of northern Dalmatia has been inhabited since ancient times, as proven by discovery of many ancient settlements and roman monuments.
Northern Dalmatia spreads out between the island of Pag in the northwest and town of Primosten in the southeast.

The island of Pag is unique in many ways. Delicious sheep cheese of the best quality and the Lace of Pag, decorative lacework made from the thin thread can be found only on this island. It seems that island is beloved among martians too, proof of that is "Pag’s triangle", an unusual imprint on the rocky ground. Some of explanations are, that imprint was made by UFO. Come and investigate yourself!
One of the most famous beach on the island, Zrce beach offer 24 hour fun in beach clubs open around the clock during the summer.

The centre of the region is a city of Zadar, city of turbulent history and exceptional beauty, recently known also on its unique building, marine organ.
In the region are located 3 national parks; national park Paklenica, Krka and Kornati- one of the most indented archipelago in the world, perfect destination for nautical tourism enthusiast. On estuary Krka river, one enter the town Sibenik also known as the city of stone houses and streets, with unique monument of sacral architecture, St. Jacobs cathedral, included in the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage.
Nature parks in region are Telascica and Velebit. The area of Telascica is distinctly contrasted area with quiet, peaceful beaches on one side and wild, rough cliffs on the other.Perfect harmony of difference. Mountain of Velebit is the largest though mountain range in Croatia, ideal destination for climbing and alpinism.
